Bathtub with integrated water inlet

Hello,
we are currently looking for a freestanding bathtub and came across the Villeroy & Boch Squaro Edge 12 during our search. This is also advertised with an integrated water inlet.
How does the control of the water temperature work with this bathtub? Do I still need fittings for cold and hot water?

I went through the website and found the installation instructions. The inlet is simply connected with a hose, and that's it. That means if you don't just want to let in hot or cold water, you'll need an external mixer tap. The Duravit C.1 flush-mounted is apparently often bought together with the bathtub, according to various stores. If you connect the flush-mounted one nicely with the bathtub connection, it could look really nice.
