Bathroom - Spots - Alexa Control

maybe someone is already using this? Does anyone know (flush-mounted) ceiling spots (bathroom) that can be controlled via Alexa? Or has a solution for this?

Thanks for the tip, that's exactly the solution. But doesn't that result in a fairly high build-up of the frame above the drywall panels? The panels rest on a profile about 2-3cm high, then comes the foil, then the insulation... No idea what kind of part that is and how to use it.

Yes, you can, even the small Hue is already 5.5 cm. With a 1.25 cm drywall panel, it probably won't be enough. Alternatively, there is the Shelly 1 switch, which goes directly into the flush-mounted box of the light switch and is also Alexa compatible.

Hm... if I understand correctly, this Shelly switch can make a recessed spotlight that is not Alexa-compatible switchable through Alexa anyway? In that case, you have complete freedom regarding the recessed spotlight. Apart from that, do you need a specific IP certification for the bathroom spots?

Alternatively, would you have to "suspend" the drywall ceiling with height profiles so that there is more space upwards?
