Oops, I don’t get any email notifications for reactions in my own thread. But here I am trying to work through everything:
- yes, the plan is in Dutch. I live in Flanders where the nicer version of Dutch is spoken.
- all the walls, including the non-load-bearing ones, are already standing. The pipes will probably be installed in a groove and then plastered over.
- what autocorrect sneakily changed to "Mäuschen" is supposed to be a "Mäuerchen." I thought it like this: on the plan left where the bathroom is drawn, a shower about 180cm long. Behind that a "Mäuschen" as a divider and behind that the washing machine.
- co-housing is living together with others. Like students, only in the grown-up version.
- I don’t have a sloping roof. It is a terraced mid-terrace house with a flat roof.
- regarding an open shower: if you can enter the shower from the foot end, apparently 150cm is enough. With side access, the partition has to be at least 130cm, otherwise it will probably get wet outside. That’s how the plumber explained it to me when planning the bathroom in my current apartment.
- it’s a pity that a terraced house bathroom is not a wish concert. With a few quick hocus-pocus tricks it might have been possible.
- the toilet stays separate, I have decided.
