Hi, somehow we prefer the more "edgy" design. And the thing with the tiles will be the next point of discussion. ;) The basic design is already fairly set: dark floor tiles (possibly brown wood look) pure white, matte elements, light/white wall tiles, at least so far. Regards Olli

 But please not such an 80s corner bathtub!

man, we are old too :) What's so bad about it? Round somehow doesn't fit, we once saw one in some bathroom exhibition that looked really good and modern - I don't know if that was the kind of 80s tub you mean. Regards Olli

You are as old as you feel. But that’s not the point: You are building a new house, and there are countless possibilities. I’m not a round fan either, but shapes support each other.

Hello,
so now that our bathroom planning for the new house has become clear, the next one is coming up soon...

In our house near Hanover, a tenant change is coming up soon, and we want to use the time to renovate a few things, including the bathroom.

We are still looking for ideas here.
The first picture shows the current state.
The side opposite the door is a sloping roof with Velux windows.
In the second picture are our proposed changes.
The wall between the shower and toilet is to be built half-height (or with a pre-wall toilet element), with a glass wall on top.
What do you think about that?

Regards, Olli

Good idea to hide the toilet a bit.

But in an apartment building, I would skip that. Where is the wastewater pipe/[Fallrohr]? To avoid running the larger toilet pipe across the room (also due to the slope), I would leave everything in place.
