I have often read about a minimum length of 1.2-1.4m, but I always interpreted it as applying to showers where the short side has no wall. In my case, it is the long side, for which I unfortunately found no information online and therefore started this thread :)
: we have also already discussed that and accepted the narrow hallway as a compromise for the other rooms being nicely large (we don’t find a small entrance area in the children's room, where you can, for example, put down the school bag or hang up jackets, that unnecessary). Hopefully, the hallway won’t be that narrow because we will have an open staircase and the hallway will therefore look visually bigger.
I measured again and between the door and the left washbasin there would be only 30 cm with ’s suggestion. The door would inevitably hit the person standing there. Don’t you also find it more sensible to leave the bathtub at the front? And to avoid seeing yourself so much in the mirror, just swap the toilet and bidet.
Can’t you then move the right bathroom wall a bit more (20 to 30 cm) to the right? That would take some space from the bedroom, which you don’t really need at the front anyway (you can also move the bed a bit to the right). Then no one would bang the door into your back when you’re standing at the washbasin. I would definitely arrange the washbasin at the front, since you have to use it the most. The bathtub at the front would be too uncomfortable for me when bathing.
