We are currently in the middle of the construction planning and are still not decided about the main bathroom on the upper floor. Attached is part of the floor plan and the current plan or another draft.

We have two sinks or one double sink (will be decided during the sampling), a bathtub, a toilet, a towel radiator, and a walk-in shower. We would like the shower to be built in masonry and without a door. However, if space does not allow it, we would also accept other variants.

Our problem with the two drafts is that there is very little space for additional cabinets or shelves. Unfortunately, we also do not know how we could solve this. Furthermore, we are not sure to what extent the sinks on this wall make sense and whether noise will occur in the bedroom when they are used. Although the water pipes will be installed in the false walls, we are still skeptical. Possibly, we would therefore swap the sinks and the bathtub, although that does not create more space either.

Do you have any suggestions for improvement or possibly completely new ideas?

A quick suggestion, as is often seen today: The bathtub is used the least, so place it along the wall at the bottom of the plan next to the bedroom. Annoy the other occupant as little as possible. L-shaped solution on the upper wall of the plan. 2m of walk-in shower from the left, 1m WC on the right. Then you can hang your towel radiator at the shower exit and place additional cabinets at the bottom of the plan. Depending on how you position the bathtub there.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, even after reading it several times, I still don’t exactly understand what you meant. Sorry, I’m a bit lost. Could you maybe draw me a small picture as a memory aid?

Maybe you’ll understand if you read the many bath/floor plan discussions that are available here in the forum. Somehow they all resemble each other – either a T or L solution

, did you mean something like this? Unfortunately, there is then too little space for the second sink.

Two washbasins fit very well on 1.30 [emoji2] But this arrangement wouldn't be mine either.
