Are only moose buyers hanging out in the forum? That wouldn't have been my first choice for bathroom furniture, but maybe we should stop by there sometime this weekend. Did you choose those [Aufsatzbecken] for the countertop?

Um, with the moose there are also sinks, but very limited and only suitable for their products. We chose countertop sinks during the sampling (for the lower bathroom) and at Reuter.de. They are quite inexpensive and have an incredible selection.

No, we do not have washbasins from [Elchshop]. We obtained them regularly through our [Sanilöter]. We do not have countertop basins but wall-mounted ones. We make the corresponding cutouts in the countertops.

There are quite "affordable" sinks available from sanitary supply stores. Also stylish ones. Some (e.g. ours from Ker..g) are wall-mounted, but can also be used as countertop sinks, then the underside is polished. Nevertheless, there will probably be a cutout in the countertop. I wouldn’t buy a sink at Elch, and I would also avoid plastic, as it can smell after a lot of use. You should have some improvisational skills at Elch, otherwise it won’t work. The advantage is that the same surfaces can be found in every department – so you can equip a nightstand with wheels and use it as a shelf for the tub, or you can take the extractor cabinet and mount it under the ceiling in a row.

So we also have a washbasin with a cabinet from the Elch... was even installed by the plumber... then a Hansacobra faucet on it... works wonderfully...

In the guest WC downstairs there is a washbasin from the hardware store... also installed by the plumber...

No issues after 2 years so far... no differences to "brand basins" detectable...

Another option would also be to ask the kitchen manufacturer. Our kitchen maker (carpenter) is building us a custom-made base cabinet for the sink and an additional wall cabinet for the sloped ceiling. When I compare price-performance here, these are not more expensive than standard furniture with the same (if not better) quality.
