Hello,
I am new here in the forum. I have not found any posts on my topic, so I am just creating a new one.
We are facing a small problem:
We have bought a house - built around 2000, basement made of reinforced concrete with EPS insulation.
So much for the basic information.
Now we plan to install a basement door on the side - so we excavated and, as suspected, there is no frost wall under the basement (2.5m in the ground)! Under the floor slab (25cm) there are about 10-20cm of gravel and below that rocky soil.
How do we proceed here so that our plan does not damage the house? A basement entrance door is essential in our case – so there is no alternative.
I would be grateful for a quick help.
Regards
