Yes, that is not up for debate. Ask why they don’t do it? I really don’t understand that. You are saving 10,000€ now to invest 15,000 later. Never heard that a damp basement is very, very expensive and the house can’t be sold because of it?

Building ground-level parts or basements stone by stone is the usual construction method here with us. With proper waterproofing (which of course will be checked by an expert), I also don't see any problems. However, we are already at a stage where such a fundamental change would no longer work so easily. Therefore, the question is whether one of the two stones would be better suited here for some reason. But just out of interest: how do you actually make the transitions when only individual (partial) walls of a floor are made of concrete and the rest of stone? I imagine that to be very complicated.

Transitions are very simple. There are special rails and anchor hooks. Sealed with reactive sealing. The concrete joints welded. You will then need the expert more often. Just because everyone does it this way in this construction area does not mean it is correct. It is simply a matter of money.

I'm not talking about the building area but our region. I actually don't know anyone with a concrete basement. Everything is brick-built...

Why Ytong? You must have already dealt with bricks, right? Personally, I wouldn’t build a house out of hazardous waste, so for me only Poroton would be an option. (mal Ganz abgesehen davon, dass meine Vorredner mit dem Betonkeller schon recht haben.
