Bank margin on credit

A bank has to operate economically? Sorry, but those are the biggest criminals of all!

I am really not well-versed in the Bible, but isn't there a parable like: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"...?

When I read "statements" like yours above, I regularly feel sick at such a waste of common sense given by Mother Nature. If I extend your statement further, it means – correct me if I'm wrong – that (almost) all people, except bankers of course, are do-gooders. Then I really wonder why the German courts are chronically overloaded?

Before you spout pub talk, you should reflect and answer the following question: "If I were positioned in a leading role, would I really be immune to the temptations of the job?" And take your time to think about it; it's not an easy question.

And as a tip: before you get worked up over individual criminal subjects (who of course haven’t reacted to societal trends at all), you should be absolutely sure that you don’t already "let five be just five" on your tax return ;)

in one of the last conversations, the banker told me that he cannot give me the home construction loan any cheaper, as his margin is already at the very bottom - apparently at 1%. What exactly is the margin, the share that the branch/the banker receives??

Since there are also some bankers in the forum, what is the usual margin, or where is the pain threshold.

I do not understand your question or your concern and this discussion. Every product (at Aldi the cheese), energy, your car, even kindergarten has a "margin"

and oh yes, people want to make money too. Some more (Apple), others less (kindergarten).

You also want to get your salary, right? You will hardly change the world or push your bank on interest rates. For that, you are too much of a "peanuts."

I have never claimed that all people are kind to each other or that everyone is a do-gooder, but the banks, like the politicians and many others who are somewhere at the top, are by far the biggest criminals and that has nothing to do with bar talk! Maybe just take off your rosy red glasses! And building expert, do you always speak such pompous German? If so, you must leave a pretty stupid impression on your fellow human beings! How long did it take you to google all those words? And I let more than just five slide! If they cheat us every day and pull money out of our pockets to help the "poor refugees," while every fifth child here has nothing warm to eat, sure, then I try to get my money back with all kinds of tips and tricks!

Phew, luckily you have to go to the pegida demonstration tonight, so you can't write such rubbish here.
