Hello, when we built, we did not consider that when it rains a lot, the groundwater rises and runs into the basement through the windows. Now we have that behind us and want to get waterproof windows. Who else has this and can recommend a company that can do this and also what it would cost!?

Hello, we had plexiglass protective panels made because if you tear out the windows, you end up causing more damage than you can fix. The windows are usually embedded in the wall with concrete, and once removed, you can never seal it properly again. There are companies that offer this, but it costs about 500 euros per window.

Hello, there are already truly waterproof windows but you have to have them installed during the house construction. Because afterwards it’s no longer possible and you can only save yourself with a makeshift solution. An acquaintance of ours also put plexiglass in front of the window and cut out a kind of porthole. He can close that and it is sealed!

I cannot imagine that there really are windows that are waterproof. There are always gaps through which water can come in. But it does sound interesting, can you see that somewhere? And how much does such a window cost if you have it installed? Who knows addresses where you can get that?
