Hello,
we are considering buying a mid-terrace house (145 sqm living space; basement (planned without heating, but we want [im großen Kellerraum] one; shed roof) in Neustadt a. W. We would get the heat from a combined heat and power plant that will be newly built. Now we looked at what the owners of the terraced houses in the development area, which the developer built a few years ago, pay and were somewhat shocked.
They pay €810.35 per year and for the first 10 years an additional €210.98 per year on top. In addition, there are annual metering services of €85.84. That makes €1,107.17 per year. If we add the expected consumption, we will have higher costs than in our current terraced house, where we live as tenants. And that is 25 years old and hot water is generated with an instantaneous water heater. Friends of ours pay about €500, but they were also connected to an existing combined heat and power plant.
How do you assess the price? Does it only seem so high to us because of the lack of experience, or is it actually high?
Best regards,
Moira
