Hello everyone,
I have already assembled so many Ikea furniture pieces (including a kitchen) and so far always managed everything - more or less with a bit of tinkering (got the Rationell drawer waste separation system super well done).
My current acquisition Hemnes TV bench 183cm with 3 drawers is driving me crazy:
- one drawer (the left one) fits perfectly
- the middle and the right drawer do not go all the way in. On each left side, the closing ends before the drawer is fully in.
But you cannot see or feel where it sticks or stops.
I have already ruled out the classics: screws are in the right places and deep enough; the rails are each correct (left, right); the drawer sides are correct (drawers are overall properly assembled); the back panel, shelves, wooden braces, etc. are also mounted correctly with the right screws in the right holes ... the side parts are all oriented correctly ...
... the plastic parts (with which the drawer is fixed to the drawer rail) are in place (and if not, doesn’t matter - works fine without them too) ...
... as said: all the classics that one sooner or later encounters in one’s IKEA furniture assembling career have already been checked ...
Has anyone else had such (or a similar) problem? Can someone share from their "classic experience"? I have not found anything about this here in the forum.
Many thanks and best regards from Upper Bavaria
