Hello,

we have had new windows installed in the old building (1970). During a conversation at the hardware store, the seller was shocked because he said that the windows should not have been installed like that. Therefore, I wanted to ask here again whether this is really a problem.

The large window is not resting on the stone, but on metal supports (unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the components, the windowsill has already been installed by now).
