Hello everyone!
We are about to start the construction of our single-family house, in which we will install [Raffstoreanlagen] for shading in the recesses on the entire ground floor. (maximum width 2.75m).
This raises the question for us: Are wind sensors (which are recommended by the manufacturer) actually mandatory? For example, as a building requirement according to recognized technical rules?
Because the manufacturer does not provide any warranty in case of storm damage or if the systems are not manually raised. Does this possibly also apply to the coverage of the insurance?
(So it's not about the usefulness of a wind sensor, we are clear about that. We are only asking whether it is a building regulation => i.e., to be executed as standard.)
Thanks in advance for your professional assessment!
Best regards, scooter ;-)
