Are there urinals of different widths?

For our new build, my husband wants a urinal. The bathroom is also big enough. We were visiting friends recently. They had something like that in the guest toilet. He found this model extremely impractical to use; much too narrow. Do these things have a standard size, or was that probably just an extra narrow model for the guest toilet?

Maybe just pee more accurately? Urinals belong in pubs, not in single-family houses.

If applicable, a tiled channel in the floor. Can be designed individually in width.

Yes, although here in Berlin more of a metal gutter is installed. It is a hip industrial look. And then buckets of ice cubes added. What, according to my memory of student parties with drinks in the bathtub filled with ice water, gives a somewhat... salty aftertaste...
