Are there reference values / standard values for interior design?

Hello everyone,
I’m wondering about a question , maybe you can help...
When I submit a plan to the bank regarding the costs for building a house, I think you also have to plan enough money for the interior furnishings. Kitchen, living room furniture, etc. etc. Our stuff is all not good, so new things are definitely needed :) So, now I’m wondering how much is calculated for that  I understand that one person is fine with absolute cheap stuff, another swears by designer furniture. But if you take a middle ground, how much do you have to calculate for a whole house? Do I have to go through various furniture stores and make a list???? I really have no clue? How do you do it? Does anyone have experience?
Thank you so much, dear ones!!!!

Best regards
Nicole

Hmm

since we are facing the same problem, here are our data

Living room 5000-6000 without HiFi
Kitchen incl. 8-seat dining area 15000
Bedroom 3000

These are values in the mid-price range that we have chosen so far. We have not decided on more yet.

Ahem, cough, cough, ... But there are already hardwood colonial style furniture pieces in the living room, right? :) I wouldn't have estimated it that high. I always thought a good kitchen easily costs 10,000, there is currently a kitchen displayed in one of the leading furniture stores that is reduced to 6000, I would take it just as it is shown there... The only problem will then be that when researching values for the furnishings you see great bargains, but then none of them are available when the time comes. We also need an 8-seater dining table - too many kids :D, but you can already get a solid wood table for 300-500 €. Plus 8 chairs, which if you take nicer ones, cost about 100 € each, so according to my calculation, kitchen plus dining table and chairs would come to 7,300 €, bargain alert provided.... Don't know if it’s better to plan for more and then be happy if it’s less... So far I always had the sum of 50,000 € in mind including kitchen and bathroom etc. But now I really don't know if that’s way too much.... Maybe the banker will call it utopian....
