Are there deep, large bathtubs?

My wife waited 8 months for the same bathtub we had before; unfortunately still not deliverable. To keep moving forward, we took "Hoesch Thasos 180x80" and honestly did not pay close attention that one side of it does not have a wide rim. [...]

The bathtub looks great - an inner height of 49 cm is definitely better than most other models. Thank you very much!

Now I'm also looking into whirlpool bathtubs. Is there anything to consider "in operation" if you never use the jets? Do they need to be specially cleaned compared to regular bathtubs?

Just take a look at Reuter... they have a good filtering system. However, as far as I know, with the dimensions, the height stops at 52 around 190.
Alternatively, look for bathtub shells.

when I recently wanted to furnish our bathroom, I looked for stainless steel tubs ... (and found very little). Stainless steel, because it lasts forever. What I found was a used one (doesn't matter, because: stainless steel lasts forever) from a hospital or something (if I remember correctly). In any case, it was significantly larger than normal tubs. It was TOO big for me, but in that direction you could find something ... but of course it won’t have the "normal installation," but a special situation that the craftsman should be able to handle. Many years ago, a friend of mine once rescued - also oversized - an enameled tub - also from a hospital. It was still in good condition and we regretted very much that it had to go away eventually because the space was needed and it had not found a place until then ... :rolleyes:
