Hello. We are asking ourselves whether the measures discussed in the forum regarding the interior doors in connection with a controlled residential ventilation system are really necessary for air exchange (e.g. sawing a gap at the bottom of the door, ventilating the frames, planet overflow seals, etc.). Air exchange must be ensured because of the Zehnder 350 controlled residential ventilation system. Our general contractor said that some doors will be left open anyway and that all of this is unnecessary. Of course, we would also prefer to take the simplest and easiest route and leave everything as it is. But then, does a controlled residential ventilation system still have any benefit?
