I did not want to claim that this is "optimal" in terms of soundproofing, but among the options mentioned here, it is still the best possible solution. However, as a builder, one has to assess on a case-by-case basis whether these are sufficient at all. The door to the rarely used guest room places different demands than the utility room with controlled residential ventilation. The "office" for private paperwork is used differently than the home workspace, etc.
Solving the problem with soundproof doors and separate supply/exhaust air simply costs a noticeable amount. Often, prioritization is necessary given the usually limited budget.
