Well, we have them inside at a Bauhaus and it is absolutely no problem, we met the Kfw 40 standard with top marks.

No, no problem at all, nothing freezes. Otherwise, the water pipes would freeze too. We've had this for 3 years now and nothing is molding, nothing freezes here, and there are no noises in the walls, not even during heavy rain. All myths and speculations by people who don't know but want to have a say. It's like any other water pipe inside the wall. If someone is worried about that, they also have to install their fresh water and wastewater pipes, air conditioning pipes, etc. on the surface or outside the house...

As far as I know, Frischwasser- und Abwasserleitungen, Klimaanlagenleitungen etc. are not installed or built in exterior walls. That is not the current state of technology.

Well, even as a layman, I can assure you at least with split air conditioning units that physically there is no other way. Unless you "beam" the cooling liquid from inside to outside...... But again, the house has been standing for three years, all planned by an independent architect, supervised by a building expert, etc., and there are definitely no problems with it. Why would there be???

I just remembered, we also have 4 exterior water taps that are supplied from inside, and I am wondering how the water gets there.

Depending on the region and the extent of the frost periods, it is advisable to shut off the garden water in winter.

They are all frost-proof outdoor fittings, we do not turn anything off and have not had any problems with it. The advice may apply to the old fittings.
