Mh, so with a bit more than 250,000 I could have still managed something, but if it goes that much over :(
Then I will probably have to reconsider my plans....

Ok, I have reconsidered everything, both financially and regarding possible own contributions, and I think that due to my professional situation I can also approach the 300,000€, even a bit more is possible.

I would like to get some information about which prefabricated house providers are recommended, who has had positive/and negative experiences, which providers are good in terms of price/performance level (and of course also quality).

Links to similar topics are also welcome, but direct statements are also appreciated. "Use the search" doesn't help me much, since I haven't found much relevant with the search terms I've used so far :)

With well over 200 providers in the prefabricated house sector, this is not going to be easy. You should leave out the premium providers as well as the cheap ones. Otherwise, the first step is to go to your house bank to check the budget without obligation. Then a model house exhibition can provide initial ideas. Reading for several dozen hours in construction forums also helps immensely.
Conversations with friends who may have positive experiences help just as much in the search for a suitable provider as visits to new housing developments to watch house assemblies and talk to the builders.
In the end, you will be sitting in your living room surrounded by a pile of brochures, your mail carrier will no longer greet you kindly, and slowly the feeling arises that it might be better to keep renting, but this phase will also pass.
And when you have received offers from several providers and have followed all other tips from this forum, you will decide on the right provider and hopefully soon be a happy homeowner.

Catalogs are already here, today we are also going to Fellbach/Stuttgart for the "Eigenheim & Garten" exhibition to visit houses.

But to differentiate between the budget and premium providers, one should know who they actually are.

And as far as I know, there are no prefab house builders in my circle of acquaintances, either having them built or building themselves and then solidly constructed.

And who or what did it turn out to be? I have the same problem, who should I build with? Which providers are recommended but not too expensive?

I have now - also due to private reasons - decided against building for the time being, so I can't tell you much about it for now.
