I have looked up the borehole profiles. Can you do something with them?
Best regards

Yes, they help. Now it is known that the fill is already substantial. In addition, according to the expert report, there is a mixing of topsoil and bricks up to 80 cm deep. That is rather unusual for me.... The material cannot be used further as is. Neither for construction (because of topsoil) nor for the garden (construction debris).

Given the quantity and the material, the 5,000 euros will not be enough for you. A landfill will require the analysis mentioned by the expert.

To ease your conscience: Commission another expert for the analysis + layer profiles (up to 1 m should be sufficient). I don’t know to what extent the first expert is connected to the construction company, hence the skepticism....

.. and ask your GU about the surcharge for the already included 30 cm soil replacement.

Well, after the soil survey, she apparently got in touch with someone regarding additional costs, and that person estimated about 5000€ extra for the groundworks.

Attached is a photo of the soil on the property as well as the excavation soil from the neighbor.

Well, I had the soil report commissioned in advance by the general contractor. They surely hired someone they regularly work with. I thought the house building contract is now signed anyway and the house will be built on the property regardless. I planned a total of 10,000 euros anyway, just to be safe, since I didn’t know what still has to be hauled away etc.

… am I otherwise reading this correctly that I then need 80cm of soil replacement?
