Alternatives to the Dixi toilet?

with us, the portable toilet was also included in the construction company's overall package. Emptying and cleaning took place weekly.

Additional tip from me:

Get a padlock to be able to lock the cabin from the outside.

This is especially useful when there are other construction sites nearby where they are cutting corners at this location.

It was absolutely unbelievable the condition in which the landscaping contractors of a developer project in our neighborhood left "our" cabin almost daily – mind you, the use was without permission and even denied by the "boss," although we caught his "pigs" multiple times and repeatedly forbade them from entering our property and the portable toilet.

After the third chargeable "special cleaning" within a week (!!!), we then installed a padlock and hung the key with appropriate labeling at our construction site.

There are pigs everywhere.

That is especially very sensible when there are other construction sites nearby where savings are made at this location.

When building in a new development area, I do see potential savings here if several construction sites share one or more toilets.
But if there are such pigs involved, of course that is problematic.

As a Wacken Open Air visitor, I can only recommend: having your own toilets is worth its weight in gold, savings or not.
