Alternatives to recessed spotlights

what alternatives are there to LED recessed spots in a concrete ceiling.
My developer wants €120 per spot (Halox housing), unfortunately that exceeds our budget.

I see it the same way: normal ceiling outlets! There's nothing wrong with that: there are pretty ceiling lights. If one or the other room is to be fitted with spots, then coordinate directly with the electrician.

I would also like the built-in spots to be space-saving and not noticeable when they are off. But 6000€ just for spots is too much. Therefore, I am now looking for as flat as possible 230v LED surface-mounted spots (or something similar), but unfortunately I have not found anything suitable so far.

Recessed spots you will never get looking like spots.. I was looking for that too. Space-saving is a strange argument... few people need space on the ceiling. With an appropriate ceiling height, you could also lower parts of your ceiling and install indirect lighting and spots there. If done correctly, it looks 10 times better than spots.

Your builder only has to ensure that the pots are cast into the concrete ceiling, or do you have a [Filigrandecke]??
We have a few more spots, I mean, the pots alone cost 40 €/each... the installation and selection of the spots were done with our electrician. I don't know exactly what they cost.
You can take a look at what nice lamps, for example from Artemide, cost; then the price becomes more reasonable quite quickly.
