What do you want to accomplish with a wheelchair in this bathroom? In this bathroom, you can only move as a single person, without any aids. Therefore, you don't need to squeeze through the door.

I myself was the owner of such an apartment until recently and can only advise you from experience to leave the bathroom as it is. The apartments of this developer are basically almost all the same somewhere and they did have a plan when designing. At most, I would omit the bathtub and enlarge the shower, but not change the entire layout. Keep in mind that pipes, lines, connections, etc. might have to be relocated. It can work well, but it doesn’t have to...

My tip: Focus on the apartment’s equipment ;)
