Alignment of house and garage on the property

We tried a bit again last night and have now settled on the variant that we will probably plan the house towards 8.75m x 11.75m and place it at the front on the boundary of the building envelope.

You are planning the dimensions of a floor plan, which is still a black box, to the nearest quarter meter? Better start with the room program and the room relationships! (in the end, the floor plan won’t even be rectangular)

One could also place the garage behind the 5-meter line at the southern building boundary. One could rotate it ;) One could also orient the house parallel at the front boundary But one should first sketch the rooms of the room program on the grid where one would like them (utility room regarding possible and short access), kitchen at the main terrace, dining in the light, bathrooms subordinated in N o O. Maybe also from the upper floor downwards: children's rooms in the (south o) west, bathroom facing north, bedroom in the east, align ground floor… Fixed dimensions, except for the knowledge that sleeping rooms can roughly work with 3 x 4, should be left aside for now.

And again, thank you! The floor plans were already done once, until the idea of the other house shape came up. Then we tried to optimize the house shape according to the plot, which led to the floor plans starting over again… A vicious circle… ;)

We will have another intensive floor plan session over the weekend and then see what comes out of it…
