Hello Hello!

We are currently planning a single-family house with 172m2 of living space here in the north with a well-established developer. I would like to build KfW55 and use the corresponding funding.

I am shocked by the offered all-inclusive price of 27,965 EUR for the following system:

Viessmann - Vitocal-200-A + (air-to-water heat pump) Viessmann - Vitovent 300-F (central controlled residential ventilation + heat recovery)

I get 2,000 EUR credited for the gas condensing boiler.

My questions: 1. Is this an adequate price? As I said, I am shocked. 2. Would gas condensing technology with solar thermal + controlled supply and exhaust ventilation with heat recovery also meet the KFW55 requirement? (corresponding additional insulation is available)

I urgently need your advice.

Thanks in advance!

Doesn't sound super cheap at first. A controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery is in the range of 10-12k€ (depending on the variant, more or less). An air-water heat pump is available for about 10k€ (again, more or less possible). Are costs for heating installations listed separately? Is the foundation for the air-water heat pump included?

It is a flat rate with which all services are paid for (or should be). Installation, laying, floor screed heightening, construction planning, etc. But as it usually is. If an extra foundation is not specifically agreed upon, it may cost more again. But as far as I know, there is a DIN standard for that.

Question: Would a gas condensing boiler technology with solar thermal + controlled ventilation with heat recovery not also meet the KFW55 requirement? (Corresponding additional insulation available) Or can this be categorically denied because it is not feasible?

When did you submit your KFW application? After April 1st, a KfW companion is required who performs, checks, and documents all the calculations. This person would best be able to answer that, as they enter your building individually and see where you stand, what is missing, or where something can be omitted.

Yes, after 01.04.2016. Ok, thanks. So structural engineer, energy consultant etc. at the property development company.
