Hello dear experts,
we are still undecided regarding the heating technology. Should it be a heat pump, we have already shortlisted one. Namely the air heat pump from the company IWS GmbH. The model is called "Atria". The indoor unit is about the size of a fridge/freezer combination. It is supposed to work without problems down to -20 °C. The manufacturer has been producing devices in Sweden since 1973 and belongs to Danfoss.
The defrosting process of the outdoor module is demand-controlled and happens automatically. It is thus kept ice-free. Since we repeatedly read and hear negative comments about air/heat pumps, we wanted to ask the experts in this forum to have a look at the device on the page ****** and share their judgment (as far as possible) with us. The system is completed by a supply and exhaust air system with heat recovery.
For us laypersons, this all sounds good and plausible. Unfortunately, a small doubt still remains in the back of our minds.
It would be really kind if someone knowledgeable would take the trouble.
See you soon
