Air heat pump and condensate pump on the same circuit?

Hello everyone,

As part of a new construction, an air heat pump was installed at my place last year, a WPL 09 ICS classic. A condensate pump is connected to the device. Now the question: Currently, the condensate pump is plugged into an outlet, which, however, is on the same circuit breaker as the air heat pump. Is this correct and also best practice, or does it make sense to have the condensate pump connected to a different circuit than the air heat pump itself? Thanks for your opinions

Best regards

Has no impact and can be connected as skillfully as the electrician is capable. Provided the circuit breakers have the correct trip characteristic and size and the cables the appropriate lengths and cross-sections.

Thank you: the following happened during this year's maintenance: the circuit for the air heat pump was turned off in order to carry out the maintenance. During the maintenance, liters of water came out of the air heat pump. Since the condensate pump was also off due to the current installation, you can imagine what the basement looked like. That is why we even came across this problem... I have received different feedback: some say it has to be this way because the air heat pump runs into an error if the condensate pump is defective (however, I must admit I am not aware of such a function), and others say it’s not acceptable, especially because of the annual maintenance (if you know about it, you could of course plug the condensate pump in for the maintenance)...

Now, the fact that water leaked out during the maintenance and was not pumped out is primarily due to the person performing the maintenance not paying attention.
