400 Ikea PAX wardrobe in 400 wall niche?

we have a 4m wall niche in our bedroom and would like to use some kind of built-in wardrobe. Is it possible to fit a 4m wide Pax wardrobe into this niche? Baseboards would of course be removed.

If the niche is still 400 cm after construction, then it should just barely work. You will have to push a bit. My niche was 200 cm and I pushed a 200 cm Pax in there.

However, if it is 400 cm raw construction, then I would make sure to change it so that the raw construction is planned with 405 cm.

Check if you have the full 4m height.

In our rental apartment, we had a 3.5m niche. Unfortunately, only at the floor, as the plaster had a "bulge" in the middle. In the end, we had to shorten a wardrobe by about 2cm. But it worked as well.
