36.5 cm aerated concrete and KS cladding? Ventilation behind or bonding?

Hello dear forum,

We are considering having the ground floor of the urban villa clad with bricks for aesthetic reasons. Should the facing bricks be glued directly onto the masonry? The better option seems to me to be to create a ventilated facade. That means: aerated concrete, battens, sand-lime brick facing in NF format. Or does that not work?

No idea but pay attention to the transition to the plaster. I only know houses where that is a nice dirty and moldy edge.

Why?
Bonding to masonry (with appropriately prepared substrate) is normal after all.

Ok, if that is the normal way. A friend told me he would simply enlarge the base slab a bit and then build a ventilated brick wall. That is much more solid, keeps heat out better, increases sound insulation, and is easy to implement.

Then you can also build the house directly with double-shell masonry (e.g., made of sand-lime bricks). Below then classic with "real" clinker bricks and above with ETICS. So, for example, like this: 36.5 cm wall + ventilation + clinker brick wall = half a meter for the look? You waste a lot of land and generate many unnecessary costs.

That is also better. Only you want to brick only parts of the house. That means that the rest will then get plaster. Now your brick facade has become much, much thicker. How do you want to solve the transition now?
