3-layer parquet instead of solid wood planks in the offer

With all due respect, as long as we do not know the offer and its scope, that is nonsense. It would be like saying €80 for a haircut is too much without knowing whether it is just a men's grooming cut or cutting, coloring, and styling of a long mane.

Nonsense is when I say that IT IS so. However, I deliberately wrote "mMn", meaning in my opinion, and an opinion can be as wrong as it can be right. I never know all the details in a case presented here, so my position on it can always be wrong because the OP has not shared/forgotten to mention an important detail. In the present case, I understood it to mean that solid wood floorboards are to be laid on an existing wooden floor, for which €100 would be too much for me, meaning for me alone. I assume ordinary circumstances on site; of course, certain conditions can drastically increase a price, but I had not read anything about that. I understood your clear response and agree with you insofar as there can never be blanket judgments, but please not anywhere!!! I had extensively described my own situation, which we have just implemented ourselves, and what has been described here would have been written from that position in my case. I am no expert and feel even less like one. So it always remains MY OPINION, no more but also no less, and an OP should compare that with their extensive circumstances, otherwise no one could ever have an opinion about something because we only ever know about 10% of the overall circumstances. I recently paid €35 for a haircut, although I usually have the quick version done for €15 on me. I, meaning again myself, find that overpriced, just like the often €80 amounts at the hairdresser (in this area I happen to have some industry knowledge and therefore allow myself this position). Nevertheless, I might go back to the €35 hairdresser because I still liked it... or it will be the €15 place again, we’ll see, and I will continue to live happily if someone pays €150 at the hairdresser. But if he/she asks me, I would tell him/her that you can possibly get a nice hairdresser for €80 and less; if he/she does not ask me, I keep quiet; here I was asked! Dear OP, I take back this statement because I want to convey nonsense to you last of all. I had referred it to my just implemented case. I know your case too little, so you do best to do what you feel comfortable with, but do not let anyone else (possibly also "nonsense") persuade you otherwise, but pay attention to your own viewpoint with whose result you can/may then live. :D I do fully understand the intention of your statement and I ALWAYS oppose blanket judgments here. For the feast of love, however, it could have been said a bit more nicely to me, with all due respect, I found the word choice "nonsense" to be sassy early on Christmas morning, which apparently passes for normal with you, just how differently we tick.
