Our right neighbor is building a semi-detached house with 2.5 floors.
The left neighbor is building a single-family house with 1.5 floors.

I would always choose 2 full floors. I honestly don’t care about the exterior appearance from the inside. To be honest, I very rarely stand in front of the house and admire the exterior. Either I am inside and would appreciate a full room on the upper floor or I am sitting with my back to the house on the terrace.

We also decided on 2 VG on the architect's advice. You always have limitations with slanted ceilings. We will get a 35-degree roof. The price should not be much higher.

I actually find the 2 full floors nicer but it will probably cost significantly more - of course.
