Would swap the wardrobe and WC on the ground floor

We have sampled the interior doors and the clinker roof tiles as well as the stair railing.

We would have doors for €400 incl. VAT. Plus installation free on site. We got something decent there.

Just like with the railing.

Our construction company had calculated bricks generously anyway. We would also have managed with clinker for €650/1000 pcs. But the Röben Brighton really won us over in the end!

We don’t have high demands for the tiles and we will definitely find something within that price range.

We have already chosen vinyl, but haven’t officially sampled it yet.

Swapping the wardrobe and guest WC doesn’t seem quite so good to us. Then the bathroom noises would be right next to the living room. That could be unpleasant for some.

Besides, in everyday life we will mostly enter the house through the utility room anyway. We basically come and go through the garage because of the cars.

The way to the wardrobe is shorter for us. That was our line of thought.

Then you just walk through the hallway with dirty shoes and later with socks through the dirt. That was my train of thought. There are two doors in between anyway. Then the bathroom and electrical work are still missing, right? In any case, you are under 2,000 euros turnkey. So it is doable if you think very carefully about what you want. For example, you have 4 small floor-to-ceiling windows downstairs and no lift-and-slide door.
