yes and? I don’t mind. You first have to earn envy. I still have one or two people who talk to me. You don’t always have to be the "nice boy." And the thing with the "non-achievers" is again one of those words and interpretations that you / you alone read into it. There are plenty of high earners who can’t manage to save equity, have 3 leased vehicles and then want to finance a 600k house. Those are for me not "non-achievers," I never claimed that either. Just people who will never manage to make ends meet in the long run. They simply live beyond their means. For me, the factory worker with 2,000 € and 50k saved up over years is honestly more likeable. In the circle of colleagues, we also have quite a few "fortune seekers" from whom you’d think they’d know better. And yet, even there they live beyond their means. It doesn’t fit for me to put up a 700k house and then come to work in KIK clothes and eat reheated food. I’m not materialistic by nature, but that’s even too much for me.

You hear this sentence about envy surprisingly often from people who have poor self-reflection and therefore simply interpret any opposition as envy, even if it is completely illogical and actually wrong...

I will neither pretend nor will anyone be able to educate me in my late age

I simply take the freedom to say what I think, PERIOD

and not only on the internet

Not everyone has that courage, everyone wants to cuddle and be nice to each other

Who is (especially here?) envious of you? If you are considered polemic, that doesn’t mean anyone is envious of you, that’s something completely different.

Why don’t you just let the "high earners" who waste their money do their thing? It’s totally irrelevant. Whether they have to sell their place someday or not doesn’t affect you at all.
Also, who cares if someone puts up a luxury house and only wears cheap clothes for it?
And what is bad about reheated food is also not clear. Just throwing away too large portions would be worse.

How often does the question "can I afford this" come up; so you feel compelled to answer it honestly.

That some people don’t like it and can’t handle the truth is only logical
