How big is the house supposed to be?
Have you really factored in everything?
Additional costs for purchasing the plot: This quickly adds up to 5,000-10,000
Additional costs for house construction (permits, utility connections): At least 8,000-10,000
Upgrades
Services that the homeowner does not take on (earthworks, etc., often painting, flooring...)
Outdoor facilities: Plan at least 15,000
I wouldn’t start with so little equity. What about paying for the kitchen, furniture, garden tools, lamps, mailbox, etc.?
We moved in recently and I know how much the little things cost that you don’t have on your radar yet. And then for you, almost simultaneously with moving in, comes the baby (purchases: stroller, child seat, clothes...)
