House + land for 550. The land is about 500sqm. The price per sqm here is between 450-600€. Accrued gains also apply to the paid-off debts in the marriage. But she will, of course, also be entered in the land register! Equity capital partly comes from me and my parents.

I would inquire with various banks and see what they offer you. If they demand 1.9%+, I wouldn't do it. With 200k equity, you should be offered the loan. That is solely because there is not enough income. And that means you are just throwing money away. If you are offered good conditions, then I would do it. You still have about €2000 left to live on afterward, and if it gets tight, then vacations will simply be canceled for 2-3 years.

The previous inquiries resulted in an interest rate of approximately 1.5% over 20 years. But I will post more detailed information once the new inquiry is completed.

How is it actually with a female trainee teacher: I believe you don't get sent running around the state so easily when you're married... but still, suppose you build in Wallstadt or Mannheim and then the "call-up notice" comes for Konstanz or the Black Forest – what then? So with property and all... why don't you wait until your darling really knows where she'll end up?

Yes, as soon as you are married, you get bonus points and are assigned in the nearby area. With a secondary modern school and a secondary general school, you hardly have any problems here, and the administrative district is easily accessible by car. But of course, there is a risk; in the worst case, she would need a room, which we do not expect.

Edit: Due to my very close workplace with very good promotion opportunities and the familial environment, we are rooted here.
