Wood price increase - order confirmation already signed

I am still in contact with the manufacturer of our house. He briefly informed me that the m3 price for construction timber has increased from 310 to 580 €. You can figure out where the price journey for new houses is going - especially since other raw material prices only know one direction.

Today, in a brief conversation with our architect, I learned that for a single-family house in wood frame construction, there is currently an additional charge of around 15K. But what is actually worse is that orders are being canceled because hardly anyone can deliver even for 600€/m³. I myself ordered about 1.5m³ last week as UK (for 600€/m³) and will still be supplied because it was stock goods. Another dealer wanted 800€/m³ :mad: For certain goods like OSB4, it is even worse -> from 4€ to 10€!!
