Hello everyone,

we want to have a conservatory awning installed. It has been due for a while now, but for financial reasons we have postponed it somewhat since the conservatory was built. Can you recommend an outdoor or an indoor awning? Our conservatory heats up a lot, so maybe an outdoor awning would be better? However, I’m worried that cleaning it might be somewhat problematic. We live near Speyer, and so I’m looking for a company that installs it at a fair price. I know from acquaintances that there is this one company. Has anyone had experience with this company and could share it with me? Otherwise, I am also very open to other providers and would be very grateful for any tips.

Best regards,
Tom

Hello Tom, I have enough experience with conservatories to tell you that you are much better off with an external awning because it prevents the warm air from coming in in the first place. Recommendation: equip the conservatory awning at least with a wind and sun sensor. How have you planned/solved the ventilation/air conditioning of the conservatory? I cannot give you a recommendation regarding the company in Speyer.
