Hello dear community,

I would like to ask you a question and hope for reliable answers. Our house is currently being built and has two relatively wide windows. The widths are 2.8 m and 3.03 m. These windows are to receive a Rosa Beta granite windowsill from the outside. The thickness of the windowsill is 3 cm and a depth of 25 cm. Now my question to you: Is it possible under these circumstances to have single-piece windowsills or is it mandatory or advisable to install two windowsills per window at these widths?

Regards

I think I have the same stuff at both of my terrace exits, which are just as wide or even wider. Therefore, it is definitely possible to get the window sills in one piece, because mine are as well :)

Hello,

Natural stone/marble/granite is available in all conceivable thicknesses and lengths; it is – as always – merely a question of cost. Whether a windowsill is installed in sections or as one piece makes no difference and has no significant pros or cons ;)

Kind regards
