Good morning everyone,
I have a window here that hasn’t been closing properly for some time. I have this problem with various doors/windows in the house, but until now I have always managed to fix it by adjusting them.
Around the window, there are, as usual with all windows, "Einstell-Nasen" which I can adjust with a hex key. (Reduce or increase the distance to the frame)
Since the window no longer closes, the handle gets stuck at 3/4 and cannot be pushed all the way down, I tried to adjust these adjustment options. However, I did not find the one that was adjusted "incorrectly". I tried all possibilities and basically adjusted everything now – but the window still does not close, and the handle still has the same problem.
This raises the question for me: Is there a "starting position" in which the window should definitely close? Even if it is not completely pressed in then – that could be corrected afterward.
Is there a way to find out which bolt is the incorrectly adjusted one? I also suspect that adjusting several different bolts might just be shifting the problem from A to B.
Could it possibly also be due to another adjustment on the window? Does anyone have tips on how I can get the window repaired?
I have already tried a lot here and am stuck.
