Good morning!
Last week we bought our plot and now things are getting serious. :)) The floor plan is almost finished. We are only struggling with 2-3 things.
One of them is the windows. We are building a semi-detached house. The neighboring house is already there and has a long, tall window on the entrance side facing the street (the kind where you can’t see in very well).
1. Now we are considering whether to do the same or to take a corner window to better use the morning sun. Is it even possible/allowed to have different windows on a semi-detached house?
2. The second consideration is to take a floor-to-ceiling window around the corner of the house. That would be in the kitchen between the kitchen unit facing the street and the kitchen island. That would bring in light and be a small “eye-catcher.” Our concern, however, is that passers-by might be able to look inside. Would you advise against it or do you have alternatives? Friends reported yesterday about a window glass that you cannot see through from the outside, but you can look out from the kitchen. Presumably those are prices that would make me cough?
