Fortunately, my fiancée doesn’t take these subjunctives so literally... I look for relationship advice elsewhere. ;)

Nowhere does it say that I have a problem with it ;) On the contrary, the concerns came from me. I just wanted to ask what you think about it. I have your opinion now. Thanks for that!

You are of course right..
I think the most correct thing would really be if I sign this contract.
However, my fiancée definitely wants to contribute financially as well. I will probably have to discuss with her whether that makes sense, or if she would rather cover the next vacation or something like that :D

Somehow I find the discussion about the architect contract pointless. It doesn't matter whether both or just one is listed there. It's more or less just a symbolic gesture. Besides, we're talking about a maximum of €11k, even less if you agreed on a flat rate. It simply doesn't matter, unless you come up with the idea of not paying the architect, then the architect, if both are listed, would have another person to whom he could make the claim, nothing more. If it were about the financing, that would be a different matter.

I would have them removed first and then registered in the land register after the wedding. If they are included in the architect contract and also in other contracts, the tax office could quickly get the idea to demand gift tax.

Thank you both. Then that's settled for me too. She's coming out, and maybe I worried too much about it after all :D

I would see it that it would be good if both builders are listed, so that one does not have to be cumbersome with short-term decisions, and they are allowed to place orders just like you. The architect contract also has nothing to do with financing or the land register.
