Dear experts,

I am a layperson and have a flush tank behind the tiles. Since the float valve occasionally gets calcified, I open it after every vacation to loosen it again. For this, I remove the clamped button and then unscrew the cover. This rests on two plastic threaded rods. One of these rods broke today. I assume the tank is from Geberit (based on the button).

Does anyone know this threaded rod and can tell me where I can order it?

Thanks. Best regards Florian

Hi

Geberit probably won’t be it.
Post a picture of the flush tank.

Attached are the pictures. The transparent cover says KIWA.

Back then, I searched in forums to find out which brand the button is from. It was identified as Geberit in a forum and luckily it matched. Otherwise, it seems that some no-name products were installed in our terraced house row.

You have already helped me! Back then, there were mounting parts included with the aperture that I didn't need. I have now found them. That takes care of the matter. Thank you!!!

I am not entirely sure, but I suspect a Jomo cistern

These threaded rods look like those from [viega] and might even be a standard part. Alternatively, one could machine something like this, which might take about 5 minutes.
