Hi,
everything is going well so far - today the scaffolding was removed and I can finish insulating the basement in the visible area.
I have perimeter insulation for this, but without a tongue and groove, instead ribbed for better plaster adhesion. I also picked up the dowels and the construction adhesive (mineral-based) today.
According to the dealer, it is applied about 1cm thick for level compensation. Our basement made from prefabricated elements is built quite cleanly - there is not much to level.
What I would be interested to know is when exactly to install the dowels?
My feeling would be, once the panels are attached and the adhesive has cured, to drill the dowel holes and insert the dowels.
If I drill them beforehand, it would be a real hassle when I apply the adhesive and then have to find the 4-5 holes per panel blindly.
Does anyone have more information on this?
Thanks + regards Chris
