Good day everyone!

Perhaps someone can give me a tip: I bought the wallpaper in the attachment because I really like it. (In case someone cannot see the attachment: It is wallpaper No. 6725-08 from erismann, petrol blue with a brown pattern). Now I have the problem that I cannot find a visually "calmer" wallpaper to match it, because doing an entire room with it is definitely too much. Does anyone have an idea what could look good with it? I am also considering how to best design the walls. One wall completely with it and the rest differently (solid color??) or halfway up and the lower/upper part differently? The room is not very big, it will be a kind of hobby/utility room, but it should not have the storage room image... Also, we are thinking about doing a wall with it in a bright open hallway, again the combination question: what goes with it? Looking forward to tips. Thanks!!
Best regards

There is often a suitable calm wallpaper from the same collection from a manufacturer. Then the colors definitely match and you can combine the surfaces.

Thank you, I have already thought of that idea and researched it, but found nothing. Only lighter/different colors, but with the same "jungle" pattern, which I find too busy. I'm also not sure if it is from the current or an older collection. Therefore the question to (hobby) interior designers here who have an eye for such things ;)

I would combine the wallpaper with a light beige or brown tone.

Or a light turquoise tone.

I find the wallpaper very beautiful and would choose a cream tone to go with it. However, without much texture, kept simple.

How big is the room? Where are the windows and door located?

I could also very well imagine it in a bright hallway. However, depending on the furnishings, I might wallpaper only one corner with it. As a highlight, so to speak. A solid turquoise wallpaper would fit well with this (but only a smaller strip) and then wallpaper the rest with solid cream. ;)

Something like this:

Thank you very much for your answers!! Yes, I definitely want to combine it with a solid color/textureless and simple wallpaper, otherwise it will be too much and too "busy". The room is not very big and it has a room door, a patio door, and a window. As well as a "niche," but a tall cabinet + base/wall cabinets will be placed there, so not much of that wall will be visible. I had initially thought to do the area from the floor up to about the window sill height or a little higher with the patterned wallpaper and the upper area in a solid color so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. But now I'm thinking rather to do a complete stripe from floor to ceiling and solid colors on the left/right. I really like the idea of solid turquoise right next to the patterned wallpaper and then solid cream or something next to that. I’m just afraid I won’t get matching colors, and if it doesn't fit 100%, it will look like it was attempted but not done well. Is the only solution to just wallpaper the rest white and then paint afterward?? :(
