Hello €uro,

I was already wondering where you had been for so long

Surely you are able to provide the interested user with a verifiable cost-benefit analysis using the example of a "normal/typical" solidly built single-family house of 130 sqm without a basement ...

Kind regards

Hello,

Don't worry, I'm already here!

This user seems less interested to me. Moreover, I do not name economic efficiency calculations, but carry them out on commission.
Those who want to save money on this can rely on assumptions, guesses, and estimates for their investment. Furthermore, there is no such thing as a "normal/typical" single-family house, as every construction project is individual and specific. The stone may not care whether it was installed on the Zugspitze or in the Lower Rhine region, but with building services engineering, it is completely different.
What is quite sensible in A leads to a money pit in B.

Best regards.

Hello €uro,

I did not expect you to invest *hours of work* – a somewhat more substantiated answer based on your experience, though; especially since you seem to care about sales.

Your experience – unless you are young, overly theoretical, or both – should show that heat recovery – measured against the construction costs – is only really worthwhile where passive house standards begin; system-inherent. Therefore, it is neither lucrative nor recommendable for the average homeowner compared to a simple ventilation system, which combines many advantages. In my opinion, it is almost indispensable to engage with the topic of ventilation systems, especially with a view to 2012. Although I already consider the effects of the valid Energy Saving Ordinance largely critical, just my two cents.

Best regards

A shorter version would have been: "No, I am not able to do this." But where would the fun be in that, right?

@ Bauexperte: Thanks for your first contribution.

To all other interested parties: Don’t be discouraged by €uro – fortunately, he is just a rare negative example. In response to the exact same initial question, I have received the help, experience, and suggestions I was looking for elsewhere. So, don’t despair!

Best regards,

Florian, who now unfortunately turns his back on this forum disappointed but also amused...

Hello,
And exactly this statement is not correct!

I agree!

Best regards
