Which stone and insulation should be used for the exterior wall of a KFW 70 house?

Now I have a specific question. What wall thickness (bricks + insulation) can be roughly assumed as a standard value.
The house has a southwest location, will not be clad with bricks, and will have a white exterior plaster. Which materials are best suited (thickness and type) and are there significant cost differences involved.

There is no "best" or "worst" brick; all have advantages and disadvantages equally. Some you can find described on my homepage.
Ultimately – in my experience – the gut feeling of the builders always decides on the brick to be used ... and of course their budget. The hollow brick is more expensive than aerated concrete, KS is better for sound insulation but does not work without ETICS. Expanded clay also requires ETICS, which renders its other properties meaningless, etc.
