Do it like when renovating the floor in an old house: there are special boards that are installed staggered.

Then attach the tiles with flexible adhesive.

I actually only wrote down the measurements so that you get an impression of the size of the platform, I don't want to change the planning... ;)
The platform is of course located in a corner of the room (see picture attached), it is completely underneath the countertop. Below the seating area, there are then 2 drawers integrated for additional storage space.

With these panels, can you also achieve a height of 195 mm? Sounds interesting, could you maybe give me the name of the panels?

Thanks!

No. You use a substructure made of solid wood for that.
No idea what they are called, I have never needed anything like that.

Another building material that comes to mind is aerated concrete. Just take that, you can easily glue it onto the screed. One of our platforms in the bathroom is also made of it and tiled.
But then no drawer is possible.

And I already knew that the platform would probably be placed in a corner. Still, it wouldn't be my choice.

I had to google that first ;) (we call them Ytong stones...) It's a very good idea! The drawer is going into the base of the seating area, which stands on the platform. Sorry if I expressed this unclearly! Of course, it’s a matter of taste (I immediately liked the kitchen planner’s idea!), but it is definitely not a tripping hazard in that position!

Material aerated concrete, company Ytongg.

It is the same as with Tesa and Tempo... correctly adhesive tape and tissue made of cellulose ;)

Aerated concrete can be easily sawed, carried, and glued.

I already knew that Ytongg is a brand name, but I had no idea what aerated concrete was; I only knew the term gas concrete. You never stop learning! :)
My parents built their extension back then with gas concrete (Ytongg stones ;)), so I know their advantages and good workability.
However, I was so set on building the pedestal out of wood that I never even considered masonry with Ytongg. :O

So thanks again for the tip!

One more question about that: Is your pedestal tiled on the side with wall tiles or also on top with floor tiles (i.e., walkable)?
